Hi there,i have a problem. I got a project from another company and the editor there made some mistakes so i have wrong masterclips to the right one mxf media files. Is there a possibility to create new master clips from the existing medafiles. I remember in an older mc version it worked. I opened the mediatool, select the wanted mediafiles and drop it to my bin and avid generated autmatically new masterclips for this meda files.
If i do so in the new mc 5.0 version i got a message: some of the items in the bin are currentliy marked not to display in this bin. The items have arrived safely. And the bin looks empty.if i check all things in 'set bin display' i onliy see some source clips, but cant do anything with them. But there are no new generated masterclips.is there any other possibility to get new master clips for this media files?can someone help me with this problem.
That would be very great. Hi, I just helped a friend who moved.mxf files to an EXT HD. He then fired up the project months later - but the media was offline. He went through all of the above.
Masterclips Volume 1-101, 000 Premium Image Collection by Imsi Master Photos. Seller Description: Fair. Noticeably used book. Text is legible but may be soiled and have binding defects. Heavy wear to covers and pages contain marginal notes, underlining, and or highlighting. Possible ex library copy, with all the markings/stickers of that library. The web site of Wisconsin Natural Resources, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources' bimonthly magazine, is maintained by magazine staff located at 101 South Webster Street, Box 7921, Madison, WI.
(he even created new title media that showed up in the ext HD's.mxf folder, but still couldnt relink the files he wanted).I got him to grab a small.mxf file (from the EXT HD) as a test and copy it into a Avidmediafiles folder on an internal avid drive that was working correctly.Worked like a charm! So it was probably some sort of permisson bollix with the ext media / drive.Hope this helps!
Question: I was called in to assist with a problem where Scratch Lab was used to create dailies. The original F65 camera file names were not put in the metadata when the mxf media and ale were created. Editors didnt catch it and edited weeks worth of footage. We want to merge an ale with the source filename data into the existing master clips. That works, but when the sequence cut earlier using the.incomplete masterclips is decomposed, the filename metadata does not show up in the subclips created. It does show up in the new masterclips created by the decompose.
An aaf export and re import of the sequence yields a sequence, masterclips with the new filename metadata and subclips without the filename metadata. Will this cause an issue in conform (using pablo) or is having the correct filename in the masterclip sufficient?
